Whether it's getting leads, winning new contracts, creating awareness, changing perceptions or building brand values... there has to be a real return on investment.
But creating effective advertising has never been tougher. For a start, consumers are suffering from marketing overload. Direct and subliminal selling messages are coming at them from every direction.
So how do you get yours noticed? Not necessarily by going to a big name agency. Most people in advertising are self-absorbed with their image and/or are intent on creating clever, beautiful looking work. It might win design awards, but does it win business? Usually not.
Forget fancy offices, luvvies with laptops, and Mac-jockeys on mountain bikes. You just need someone who knows what they are doing.
The job of an ad is to make someone want to do something. For that you need an idea that is singleminded, motivating, and which clearly differentiates you from the rest of the market.
So what sets me apart from the others?
There's certainly no fancy office and I confess I'm hopeless careering down ravines on a mountain bike.
But there is track record. 30 years of it. You don't last that long in this business without knowing what you're talking about - and learning how to cut straight to the chase when a client wants results.
And there's an approach that is geared entirely to meeting my client's objectives.
I work for a wide range of clients across almost all sectors, providing them with advertising and graphic design services - mainly in the West, but as far afield as Penzance and Liverpool. They tend to be SMEs operating B2B, and they all have one thing in common: they cannot afford the luxury of advertising that doesn't pay for itself.
What they all look for is someone with advertising "in them". Someone who will lie awake at night wondering - "how can I give this proposition more impact, which approach is going to get the best response, is there another way of looking at this problem?" In short, someone who will drive value out of every pound they spend.
After 30 years of sleepless nights I know I am one of these unfortunate people! What's more, I work with a team of similarly afflicted experts who really care about their clients, and between us we offer a full service, which I personally manage, that covers everything from copywriting, typography and web design through to photography, media planning and print.
If you would like to talk through your advertising and graphic design requirements with someone who knows the difference between what works and what just looks good, then get it touch. I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours,
Geoff Bunce
